Older Man Asked to Buy the Bike—But the Salesman Laughed

An older man walked into a motorcycle dealership and immediately noticed a beautiful Harley on the showroom floor. After taking a closer look, he calmly told a salesman that he wanted to buy the motorcycle that very day.

Instead of welcoming the potential customer, the salesman laughed. Looking at the man’s simple clothing, he assumed there was no way he could afford such an expensive bike. He even suggested that the customer probably couldn’t afford the tires.

The older man remained composed and repeated that he wanted to make the purchase. Rather than bringing over the paperwork, the salesman continued questioning him and asked him to leave the showroom.

“Give me the paperwork,” the customer insisted.

The salesman finally began to realize that the man was completely serious.

Just then, another employee approached the counter and immediately recognized the older gentleman. The situation changed in seconds.

The surprised salesman learned that the customer he had dismissed was actually the owner of the dealership.

The owner calmly explained that the biggest problem wasn’t the motorcycle or the money—it was judging a customer before knowing anything about him.

The salesman was dismissed from his position, leaving behind a simple reminder: **respect should never depend on someone’s appearance.**
